Guest guest
Hi, we're currently in the middle of our 2nd round of dmsa with our almost 6 y.o. son- 21 mg. every 4 hours, supplementing C, minerals, milk thistle, etc. so far no major complaints from him or us (he's doing amazing with middle of the night doses- he opens his mouth in his sleep to swallow apple sauce and turns right over ) but he has horrible, sulfury smell gas. Note: he was never a major gas passer until we started digestive enzymes ~8 weeks ago. when we first started he had terrible gas which i figured was die off- that went away and now he just has gas when we skip the enzymes. this is something awful now-- it must be the dmsa or the milk thistle- or yeast or some combination. is activated charcoal something i can give now to help with decreasing the gas and maybe helping the heavy metals transport out more easily? I am also supplementing 3 drops GSE and coconut oil in a.m. and probiotics in p.m. everyday to prevent yeast. any comments would be most welcome! thanks, catriella
Guest guest
Hi Sam had this too - phew! I wouldn;t give activated charcoal during a round, the other stuff is fine. Do the charcoal after the round, an hour rot wo away from supps or it will suck them up too Glad he is tolerating things fine Mandi in UK Note: he was never a major gas passer until we started digestive enzymes ~8 weeks ago. when we first started he had terrible gas which i figured was die off- that went away and now he just has gas when we skip the enzymes. this is something awful now-- it must be the dmsa or the milk thistle- or yeast or some combination. is activated charcoal something i can give now to help with decreasing the gas and maybe helping the heavy metals transport out more easily?
