Guest guest
Here I have been, trying to sort out hair tests and chelation protocols, without actually trying to figure out if there IS mercury in childhood vaccines here in Canada. I finally went onto the Health Canada website last night and lo and behold, they say that there hasn't been any thimerosal put into routine childhood vaccines since 1994, way before my little boy was born. So: am I a fool? I guess I should track down my son's vaccination lot numbers and such just to make sure, and maybe they just use a different trade name for thimerosal up here (anything seems possible at this point), but it sho does look like I'm barking up the wrong tree. I don't have any amalgams, either -- did when I was a kid, but not now. Maybe ate a little too much tuna when I was pregnant/lactating, and maybe I should get our water tested too, just to make sure. I would love to hear from any other Canadian parents who are chelating their kids (or thinking about it). What were your hair test results like? (If you're interested, I posted ours on message #148088.) Do you have any more information about vaccine status in Canada? What kind of results have you seen from chelation, good, bad or indifferent? This mercury question is just so compelling, and I think I want something definite to pin my son's autism to, even someting as terrifying as mercury poisoning -- at least it's clear that something can be done about that.
