Guest guest
The autoimmune disease I spoke of, which can cause itching without a rash, isn't related to allergies. As far as I know, antihistamines don't help itching caused by this particular autoimmune disease. It's classified as a rare disease. Itching doesn't start until that disease has become pretty severe. I'm sorry if I alarmed you by speaking of it. The Atarax I wrote about "merely" quiets the itching, allows one to get some rest. H. I've taken antihistamines for like 15 years for other allergies, so I didn't really notice when my severe itching started, but a few years ago. With an antihistamine I'm fine, but when I dont take it (and it has to be a strong one) I start getting REALLY itchy. Could this be what you're talking about? The doctor never thought anything of it.
