Subject: Re: eye drops with mercury/WHOLE FOODS

From what I understand, the homeopathic remedy Mercurius, does not

have the same properties as Mercury. I did a search on the web and

thought the following provided a good explanation of how homeopathic

remedies are made. Hopefully it will allay your concerns for using the

eye drops with mercurius.

Mercurius IS latin for Mercury.

This is what I sent to the manager at Whole Foods about the eye drops. She had a

flunky call me back.

Hi Debra,

Here's the link to the dictionary describing mercurius

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=mercury

Look down the page to the latin base of the word. It is mercury and it is

POISON.

Not good. I'd get it off the shelves before someone makes a stink about it and

sues.

I know I am dramatic, but if you were as conscience of the mercury/autism issue

and the amount of people shopping at whole foods in general with mercury issues

they would be IRRATE!!!!!

Thanks for being open. I'd like to know what happens, and will be really

dissappointed

if it doesn't come off the shelves asap.

Sincerely, Alison 408-446-3991, 408-655-1193. I have been on disability

for

overe 11 years. See the links below for mercury info.

We assume miracles arrive like bolts from the blue. But most real miracles are

built arduously, stone by stone, and only when seen from the perspective of the

whole are they revealed to be miraculous. For this reason we tend to miss the

wonders happening right next to us, because they are occurring in slow motion

and rendered invisible by the filter of our expectations.

I am getting really confused by these posts. I thought homeopathics are taken to

help one's body deal with certain things. ie You would take Mercurius if you

have

mercury poisoning; You would take sulfur if you have sulfur issues, etc. From

what I

have always been told, homeopathics are soooo diluted, they are the base essence

of something, and it is not like you are actually taking that element.

I would really like to know the answer to this, as I have taken homeopathics in

the

past with mercurius and other heavy metal homeopathics in them, to help me

detox.

Does someone know the answer to this?

Thanks

That is my understanding of homeopathic remedies too. That they are so

diluted that not a single molecule of the original substance it was

made from is part of the resulting homeopathic remedy. So for

homeopathic mercurius, it has it's name sake of mercury, but does not

have the same properties or toxicity that mercury has.

I have used homeopathic remedies on myself and my kids too. Some like

arsenicum (made from arsenic) or Rhus Tox (made from poison ivy) sound

alarming, but they do not have a single molecule left of what it was

made from nor it's toxic properties.

The latest explanation is that the energy of the original substance is

imparted into the water or whatever liquid it is succussed into creating

the healing properties- you are all right- there is no original

substance left and it cannot and is not toxic

I'm really trying to understand how this can work. If not one

molecule of mercury still exists in mercurius, than why isn't it

just called water? How can you dilute a substance to the point

where none of it exists in liquid anymore and still maintain it's

energy?

Anybody have a good book title or website link to send me?

Traumeel is a muscle rub and it too contains mercurius. Our Whole

Foods (Arlington TX) Was very concerned about it but I don't know if

they pulled it off the shelf.

We discovered it because they were out of an arnica rub my daughter

uses. She was detoxed with DMSA the WRONG way in 1999-2000 and

suffered OCD symptoms because of it. This past December we used

this accidentally and she developed the same OCD issues with the

same intensity we saw in 2000. That's when I read the label more

carefully.:(

So, my conclusion is that even if there is no mercury molecules left

it still affected her like she was being exposed to mercury all over

again.

I thought that Amy Lansky's book " The impossible cure " was pretty good

at explaining about homeopathy.

Did the OCD issues resolve once you stopped using the muscle rub with

mercurius? I thought that for homeopathic medicines, if you used more

than what your body needs, the person might start " proving " the

medicine. But once you stop, those symptoms will go away and the

damage is not permanent. Just curious.

Got the information (below) from one of our local ASD lists. I have not read her

book, myself, nor am I going to the event. I do know that homeopathic Mercurius

is NOT toxic.

HTH,

....

A great book on this subject is " The Impossible Cure " by Amy Lansky.

She will be speaking in Santa Clara, CA in April:

Yes, the symptoms went away by the next morning.

Hi

I wanted to chime in on this conversation. Many people that utilize homeopath,

myself included, experience regressive behaviors during treatment. Some of the

behaviors that a child did after being vaccinated (exposed to mercury) start

happening again. With my son improvements followed. The book " Impossible Cure "

by Amy Lansky has one of the best explanations of homeopath.

So Mercurius my cause some people to chelate. I have read about homeopaths

successfully using this remedy to chelate individuals. It just depends on the

individual. It might cause nothing but agitation for another.
