I would recommend starting with the FAQ and going from there. This will be more informative for you as it is all organized nicely and will answer a lot of your questions and cover things in more detail. Plus you can review important protocol information such as dosage etc.. whenever you want. If after researching this material throughly you decide to try it I would also recommend buying Andy Cutler's book as it gives even more detail, explanations and information. With the information in the files section you can accomplish chelation on your own without a doctor needlessly charging you for things you do not need. > > I know the PCA-rx is pretty expensive per bottle, but based on the > company's website and their dosage reccomendations it still appeared > that it would be cheaper than all that is required when chelating > with DMSA. TK--- [iMO] I would not use PCA-RX as it has ALA in it and you will never know how much you are giving your child which is important as redistribution of Hg makes symptoms and damage worse, and it would need to be given every three hours just like an oral capsule or tablet dose of ALA. Oral ALA is much less expensive and you can control the dosage that is given which will increase excretion and decrease any redistribution of Hg limiting side effects and damage. Using DMSA or DMPS along with the ALA can further increase excretion and reduce side effects. > > Thanks for all your feedback! > christine
