Guest guest
Hi all. I've been away this past few months. Friday I was at Integrity Foods and the clerk told me the owners will be closing the store in April. She said the owners hadn't made any decisions on sales or anything more specific as they are involved in a big wedding at the moment. This is the store that sits on Bascom across from Whole Foods. I've been getting Kinnickinnick Italian rice bread and some nut bars(Natural brand) as well as frozen buckwheat waffles there. Oh well. In November we did what I thought would send me to the nut farm. We remodeled our kitchen. Brave ha! The worst of it lasted two to three weeks. But finished in January. We used the same basic footprint with some minor changes. The big surprise was some bad wiring, a fire waiting to happen. So I am relieved we have it all replaced now. You never know whats behind those walls in an older house. The cabinet people worked with us on a plan to move fast. We had everything here to install ahead of time. And we used one company to do the project.( Except the granite) Bay Cabinet Supply in San Leandro did a great job. We precooked 12 large meals(family sized). Froze those out in our freezer. Then we used Outback, PF Changes and In and Out for the rest.and our microvave and grill. Good thing November was mild weather wise. Our oldest just saw Dr. Grey at Stanford the end of January. He is doing really well. Has continued to gain weight and muscle mass: 145-155-162 pounds( 6'1 tall) over the course of two years since diagnosis. Son is very active in Aikido and working out at school. Grey gave our son his email to contact him if he has any future problems. Our son really likes him.
