Guest guest
I went to woodlands market near college of marin today because someone told me they had the BEST guacamole and good pesto. After touring almost the whole store, I found those, but barely found any GF stuff. Its basically an upscale small grocery store, so I expected to find at least a little bit of GF stuff. But then I made my last aisle trip, the frozen foods section! To my incredible delight, they had ALL KINDS OF GF things!!! The had the I can eat that pizza crust, they had GF fish sticks and chicken nuggests (Ians, but they were really expensive so I didnt buy) and they had the kinniketyek (or whatever they are) brand that I've never seen locally and heard was so good! I got the cinnamon donuts and they are as good as everyone says! I also got bagles, ready to bake GF bread, and Amy's mac and cheese (which was actually CHEAPER than any other place I've ever seen it! Over all I didn't find their prices any worse than most stores, some things were much more expensive, but some things were much cheaper too! I would highly recommend them for frozen stuff and their pesto and guac RULE! (although I dont know about CC issues with them as they are made in house I believe and no info except ingredients is on the label) Cory

Guest guest
For those of us who are new to CA, or don't live in the east bay, but live near, would you please include a city name in posts like this? I might be able to go to this store if I knew what city it is in. Also, anyone been to Piedmont Grocery for the Judy's Clean Cuisine products? I could not find them and they were too busy for me to ask anyone. Come to think of it, it would help if people not only included the city that a store is in, but the aisle that a product is on. Stores categorize things differently. Even different Whole Foods have their GF bakehouse products displayed in different places - Berkeley has them in the freezer, Walnut Creek on a rack next to the freezer. I hate wandering a store aimlessly trying to find a product that I have heard or read about. Guest guest
Cheryl,Yes, I have purchased Judy's Clean Cuisine products at Piedmont Grocery. I have to say I prefer " I Can Eat That's " frozen bake-at-home bread (which can usually be purchased at Berkeley Bowl but wasn't there last time I went buy to purchase it. Boohoo) but Judy's is pretty good, too. They are in their own mini-rack that is at the front of the bread aisle, or at least that's where they were last time. They seem to only come in once or maybe twice a week so sometimes they are out. Just ask one of the employees next time. They also have Mariposa's yummy biscotti and brownies at Piedmont Grocery. Guest guest
Thanks, Isaiah. I looked everywhere, so they were probably out. I will try to go at a differnet time of the day next time I go and maybe can ask for them. I have a lot of favorite products, but I am always willing to try something new. Again, thanks for your reply. Guest guest
Maybe someone else out there can confirm this.... but I thought that I heard that Judy had passed away a few months ago? -----Original Message-----From: [mailto: ]On Behalf Of Isaiah Sent: Monday, September 25, 2006 8:57 AM Subject: Re: [ ] more GF happiness!
