Guest guest
Just wanted to mention that a new Nob Hill store opened in Mountain View today, and they have an excellent selection of GF stuff. In fact, their new page on the Nob Hill Web page advertises that fact. The skinny? They have most of their GF stuff in a " health/ diet " food section- including mostly Ener-g Foods including gourmet crackers and TWO kinds of pretzels, Glutino ( " ritz " crackers) Mrs. Leepers in every flavor, Gluten Free Pantry Skillet, Braggs Aminos which I finally bought to try (cheaper than San-J but I'm loyal), and Tinkyada Joy pasta. The Tinkyada is on sale right now for $3.19 and they also have TONS of Lundbergh rice crackers, Amy's soups, GF vegetable boullion... Bumblebee Bars. Anyway, if you live in the area it is well worth a look. Only thing is, their freezer section is a little disappointing, although way better than the sad little freezer you had to dive into in the old store. Amy's selection is decent, and they currently have the rice crust cheese pizza, etc. Also some great international foods, including freshly made tamale dough etc. Enjoy! (PS It's good but still no Whole Foods or Harvest House... But, not bad for a regular store)
Guest guest
Also, very close to the new Whole Foods there is a new store called Elephant Pharm that just opened which is apparently a natural pharmacy- lots of bulk herbs, teas, natural health products, and a small food section. Not much that is specifically gluten free, but they do have a good selection of gf energy bars (Bumblebee, Lara, etc). > > Just wanted to mention that a new Nob Hill store opened in Mountain > View today, and they have an excellent selection of GF stuff.
