Help:looking for a mercury free dentist in Long Island/NYC ....

Dear all

I will be very grateful for any tips/advice. My 4 year old son needs

to see a dentist as his teeth is not in very good condition.

Does any one know of any Dentist(who sees children) in the Long

Island/New York City/surrounding areas who does not use mercury

fillings.

What is the alternative of fillings for a 4 year old?

And is there any thing the Dentist can use to calm him down (that

will not be bad for an ASD child) , as I know my son will not lie

down quietly and open his mouth!!!

He is currently on the usual supplements, MB12 shots,TD DMPS for 5

months.

I put a search on google but most of the dentist did not see

children!!!

Hi,

My dentist is Dr. Norman Bressack, in Bellmore. I've never seen any kids there,

but maybe they can recommend someone who works with kids.

Well, in Towanda, PA which is 1 hour drive from Elmira, NY and maybe a 4 Hour

Drive from NYC does Mercury free. But he also does Mercury containing as well.

You really have to ask for No Mercury... but even with a dentist that does use

Mercury there is a trick you can try. See, the Fillings they use on the Front of

teeth are plastic. For cosmetic reasons they don't use Mercury. (I mean, who

wants teeth that are visibly silver looking) so I usually just ask for plastic

fillings and make sure to ask to be sure that it doesn't contain mercury. I

don't have a single mercury containing filling because of that little trick.
