Guest guest
> So getting a handle on my doses, if I take even .25mg a dose for 7 times a day, that is a 175 mg or a little less than 2 100 mg pills. I bring that up, because if that dose is for chelation purposes and some do even less, why is it that on the supplement the daily dose is 100-200 mg for just average intake? Because they are unaware of ALA's use as a chelator. >And every day, not only for 3 days and then must take a break, just like a daily vitamin or vit c for an antioxidant. Bottom line for those mercury toxic if they start doing this as a daily regiment, do they run serious risk of problems with mercury Yes. It is a catastrophe already and I hear plently of stories. Most doctors don't know to be aware of this yet so they miss it. >and have no clue? Plus of course they would be taking it 100mg a time, twice a day to follow the directions. > Also wondering if someone is not mercury toxic, is it safe to assume they will feel nothing when taking ALA and those who are toxic would feel something? Yup. If they are toxic with something ALA chelates, they will feel it on a chelation protocol, if not, then not. > Thanks, > Kari > >

I am chelating my 2 mercury toxic boys with DMSA and ALA. And I just started chelating my NT 6 yo daughter (3 rounds so far). My daughter hasn't had any negatives from the ALA (every 3 hrs./ 3 days on and 4 off). The first two rounds I gave her 12.5 mg ALA and saw no negative reaction. So this past round I upped it to 25 mg and saw no negatives, but I did see positive subtle changes. With my boys they definitly had some negative behavior when 1st starting, but the less toxic they are becoming, I am seeing less negatives with each round. Guest guest
This is great, I'm throwing my DH on ALA! He is so certain he is not mercury toxic, (and could be right), yet he qualified for the counting rules. He technically has no issues, however he does have a " way " of being disconnected emotionally that I just know is altered and is one that seriously does not like change. In addition to qualifying for the counting rules, his mercury level was non existent. Just seems like especially NT people would show some mercury because it's so all over, plus he did have a few amalgams which were replaced last year. Thanks, Kari > > Yup.
