Guest guest
IMO, I believe that is would not be healthy since you are also pulling vits/minerals that are essential to have in your body. Do you treat the yeast? Enzymes (No Fenol from www.houstonni.com ) probiotics and GSE help us with yeast issues. You can also get an RX for yeast too if it is real bad. Guest guest
Maybe if you could just supplement the ones that are pulled with chelation, like zinc etc. Also testing to watch them closely. When I started chelating my son, he tolerated basically nothing. So I just gave HNI enzymes and ALA. As chelation progressed, he gradually started tolerating things, so I added them. The biggest improvement in supplement tolerance came at about round 50. Dana
Guest guest
Hi Dana, I wanted to use Andy's protocol, by first starting with DMSA. Is that allright to use without the supplements? Thanks once again. Bharathi > > My 5yr old son does not tolerate supplements very well. Thanks once again. I would be much more hesitant to use DMSA without at least liver support, because DMSA is stressful for the liver [and kidneys], whereas ALA supports the liver. Not sure what supplements might support the kidneys. Dana
Guest guest
Hi Dana, Thanks for your post. What can I give for liver support? I have decided to go ahead and give some supplements instead of many, so will Super Nuthera and Multi mineral complex from Kirkmans, twice a day be enough? (My son is 5yrs old and weighs 42lbs). I am giving him Houston's enzymes before meals, so hope he will get some vitamins and minerals from the food that he eats. The whole thing is so overwhelming that I can't think straight anymore. Thanks again. Bharathi > > Hi Dana, > > > > I wanted to use Andy's protocol, by first starting with DMSA. Is > > that allright to use without the supplements? Guest guest
Hi, Thanks to Dana and everyone for your post. Sorry to ask this, but is Milk thistle derived from milk? My son is severely allergic to Milk. If not, can anyone tell me if it is SCD legal, where I can buy them and should I still give Super Nuthera and Multi minerals? Thanks again for all your support. You should have some sort of yeast protocol, because chelation usually does aggravate yeast. Dana

No, it is an herb. > If not, can anyone tell me if it is SCD legal, I don't know, but probably. It also would depend on if the specific brand you used contained any fillers. >> where I can buy them I bought mine at my local health food store. > and should I still give Super Nuthera and Multi minerals? These don't correlate to milk thistle at all. Giving the one should not effect whether you should give the others. Dana
