Guest guest
If your son gets pin worms, He'll be itching around his private area alot, especially at night. Usually that is the only symtom. You can visually see them too. They look like a grain of white rice. To treat them, you can use pin-x which they sail at drug stores with out a prescription. http://www.pinworms.net/ > I know this is way off subject but I am really wanting to avoid Rx drugs. > > My 2 1/2 yr. old son may have pinworms. A girl in his preschool was diagnosed just last week. He started running a good fever about 4 am which continued until about 5 pm. He woke up once last night and once so far tonight crying as if in pain. That is what the girl's mother said she had done (the crying part). He potties in the toilet now and I haven't seen anything so far but when I just checked on him, his fever is back. I am not one to dose with anything unless I have to so I am going to wait. Just not sure if this is something I can do anything with at home. Should I be able to see them?? > > Would love advice, Thanks!! > in Cocoa > > > __________________________________________________ >
Guest guest
We just finished treating my son for this as well. He was also picking his nose A LOT and sticking his hands down his pants to try and scratch his bottom. This may sound crazy, but I used a homeopathic remedy called CINA at 30C and it worked! We used 4 pellets 4X per day for roughly one week. I had posted before about how well he was doing and now his issues seem to be auditory processing. Wow! After doing the CINA, I'm seeing improvements with that too! You can get CINA on the web or at your local health food store. I used a brand called Boiron and it was $5.79. Best to you, Debbie > I know this is way off subject but I am really wanting to avoid Rx drugs. > > My 2 1/2 yr. old son may have pinworms. A girl in his preschool was diagnosed just last week. Guest guest
When they get a really bad case you can see them in the stools. You can check at night when he is asleep. We had a round of pinworms at my house. We did treat with something the doctor ordered and then followed up with a natural paracleanse in about 10 days. If you do have them, you need to wash your bedding. We did this for several days in a row and also changed and washed underclothes every morning. Pinworms can really affect these kids behavior. We found that out with my daughter. We also went ahead and treated everyone in the house because they tend to get passed around. Pinworms??? I know this is way off subject but I am really wanting to avoid Rx drugs. My 2 1/2 yr. old son may have pinworms. A girl in his preschool was diagnosed just last week. Guest guest
, We got rid of pinworms very quickly with Cina 30C, 3x per day for 5 days. Got rid of the teeth grinding and irritability as well. Guest guest
Thanks all, I am going to try the CINA for at least a couple of days to see if anything makes itself known. I actually saw some interesting things in my other son's pull up earlier today. Kind-of like small rice. Not encouraging but hopefully we have caught it early. I wonder what the dose for an 18lb infant would be? If both boys have them then she likely does as well. Oh well, it could be worse. I wouldn't mind getting rid of one son's irritability and the other's teeth grinding. Thanks again! in Cocoa cathylynn2 <cathylynn2@...> wrote: , We got rid of pinworms very quickly with Cina 30C, 3x per day for 5 days. Got rid of the teeth grinding and irritability as well. Guest guest
Thanks, I will be doing laundry in a few minutes. Good advice. I saw a paracleanse at the hfs today but it didn't give recommendations for children under age 4. Might try contacting the company. I did find a homeopathic remedy. I think I will try that just to make sure there is something there. If I see them starting to die off I will have to watch much closer. Will go to the dr if I can't get it under control quick. Thanks again, in Cocoa Blackmon <blackmon@...> wrote: When they get a really bad case you can see them in the stools. You can check at night when he is asleep. We had a round of pinworms at my house.
