Guest guest
Acid Alkaline Balance and ALA I found that my body is reacting bad to acidity. I tested my urine and saliva with pH test papers and they were both acid about 6.0. I tried using sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) to lower my pH but it creates pain in my stomach like a rebound effect. Is there any gentle product (not too expensive) to help alkalize the body? I don't tolerate calcium or magnesium very well so this is a little tricky. What can I use? (If you think diet than direct me to a good web site cause I already know the basics). I'm saying it here because ALA (Alpha Lipoic ACID) is really hard on my stomach and small intestine so I would like to buffer this acidity especially during a chelation round. Thanks ph
Guest guest
I think you are confusing two things. The ph of your urine I believe reflects the overall acidity in the body. It can be made less acid with lemon juice. If on the other hand your stomach is sensitive to acid, lemon juice might not be good. Dagmar. Guest guest
Me too....really rips it up.... churning and somewhat painful. I started taking the ALA under my tongue and then I get zero problems with the gut at all. It is a little rough in the mouth because of the acid, but for me, this way works so much better than swallowing a capsule of it. What relief... ~Inga on 5/6/05 6:37 AM, astral_info at astral_info@... wrote: I'm saying it here because ALA (Alpha Lipoic ACID) is really hard on my stomach and small intestine
Guest guest
ph have you tried different kinds of cal/mag? I was taking cal/mag formulas for years without a problem and then suddenly my body felt awful on it like it wasn't working. I read that you need adequate vitamin D to process these minerals. And then I found a more natual source called Dyno-Mins by Nature's Plus at my heath food store. These minerals are extracted from plants and are easily absorbed. Called Phytavail Minerals. Perhaps they will help.
