Concord, Ca HARVEST HOUSE health food store

Today DH and I went to Concord, Ca because he is taking up home

brewing as a hobby and there is a fantastic supply shop there. I was

researching fun things to do in Concord (turns out there aren't any)

and stumbled across this health food store called Harvest House.

I thought, hey, why not, maybe we can get lunch there- and their web

site said they had a lot of GF stuff. I went in and saw a bunch of

(wheat) crackers and wasn't that impressed- until DH pointed to

these huge horizontal freezers labelled GF Foods. They were

completely full of every Kinnikinick product EVER, including their

bagels, donuts, cinnamon rolls, muffins, breads- EVERYTHING! Also

they had Food For LIfe Brown rice wraps, which I've been looking for

forever. I picked up a few things (chocolate donuts and maple

donuts) and moved on- they had entire aisles with NOTHING BUT GF

Stuff! I was so overwhelmed I just stood in the middle of the aisle

like a goldfish in headlights... Gluten free pantry, Ener-g

foods,Glutino, Tinkyada (I actually bought this ridiculous pasta in

cute kid shapes by them)-they had everything except chebe....So many

GF snack bars, cookies, crackers... everything! Completely amazing.

Definitely check them out!

PS the one thing they DIDN't HAVE was the oreo subs, so sad...
