Guest guest
Hi I just started BFL and I wanted to know if balance bars okay to eat on the plan. I will occasionally have one mid-afternoon when I am running around as my 4th meal. I tried the Myoplex low carb kind but I honestly did not like the taste. The nutritional info seems pretty close with both.
Guest guest
Plenty of people will tell you bad, no, wrong when you mention Balance, Zone or Luna bars. I eat them though. They're good! I even wrote a little speech about why everybody will give you conflicting bar advice. My bottom line is that you shouldn't eat anything that tastes like soap. :-) Meal Replacement Bars http://www.skwigg.com/wow/id49.html My current top 5 favorite taste good bars are: 1) Zone chocolate caramel cluster 2) Steel Bar Rivets peanut butter (sort of Reese's Pieces) 3) Zone chocolate mint (closely related to Girl Scout thin mints) 4) Luna chai tea (remind me of Italian Christmas cookies) 5) Luna sesame raisin crunch (lots of seeds, it's tasty bird food) I haven't seen the new Balance Bar trail mix in stores yet, but once I do I'm all over it. :-) http://www.balance.com/products/default.asp?product=NewGomix Re: Balance bars Hi I just started BFL and I wanted to know if balance bars okay to eat on the plan. Guest guest
I've tried the Myoplex ones and didn't really care too much for them, either. I do really like the EAS Advantage ones, though. I like the Lemon Cheesecake and the Apple Cinnamon. The Brownie one isn't too bad, either. Of course, I really like the Detour or One way ones for a special treat - not very often because of the fat content, but they taste awesome, almost just like a candy bar. I get the small ones, or you could halve the big ones. All of these are available at Sam's Club and are pretty reasonably priced. Guest guest
Thank you for your response and listing your top 5 favorite taste good bars. I agree life is too short to eat things that taste like soap or feel like card board in your mouth. -Cons > Plenty of people will tell you bad, no, wrong when you mention Balance, Zone or Luna bars.
