Hi everybody.

I'm a Paediatric Occupational Therapist now working in London. I'm looking for

information related to sensory processing difficulties for children with

Plagiocephaly and/ or torticollis for a presentation I'm about to give.

Many of the kids I treat with Plagiocephaly and / or Torticollis oftentimes also

have sensory processing difficulties. E.g. vestibular / balance, difficulty

self-soothing, avoid moving / fearful or sensitive to movement, poor bilateral

integration (use of both sides of the body) and difficulty with new motor tasks

( motor planning). Although I realize that due to my work I tend to see

children moreso with significant difficulties.

I was wondering if any of your children have sensory processing difficulties?

And if so, would you mind sharing with me generally what they have, what you do

for it, and if you receive any Occupational Therapy services?

I would very much appreciate your time. I'm hoping this information will be

helpful for other medical professionals and parents. :)

Feel free to email me privately at muniraadenwalla@... or to post back on

this board.

Many Thanks in advance,

Munira
