Guest guest
I was so glad I was able to attend this presentation (even though we were about 50 minutes late due to the unfortunate death on the Ronkonkoma LIRR line--stuck in the dark on the train for over an hour in Wyandanch--not fun)But he was worth it. The Mercury-autism connection is OBVIOUS to me and I can't wait until I can get a copy of his book Evidence of harm. I am thrilled that the director of emergency services in the hospital I work in is also interested in reading his book--she is very open to the idea that Thimerisol could be a link. I was talking to several other nurses (and a few doctors were listening in as well) last night after the event (yes I still had to go to work afterwards from 12a-8a) and they were all very open to hearing what I learned. The doctors needed more convincing but they were not dismissing it either. I would love to see my hospital obtain vaccines that are thimerisol free (like the flu vaccine) and I am on a mission to see that this happens for nex t year.
