more masculine jawline as well. So far it appears my profile has improved

and i'm up and about most of the time. It's only been 14 days since my

surgery and i feel great. I'm wondering when you really noticed the most

improvement in your chin and jaw astheticaly speaking. My doctor mentioned

liposuction as well down the line to remove any excess fat around my neck

as i'm not an overweight person but always have had this turkey wobble

under my chin. Any thoughts would be welcome. BTW, who was your surgeon?

Hi Duncan!

I am from the Monterey Bay area, so yes, we are neighbors! I think that

I started noticing a difference when the swelling started to go down, but

only recently can I say that I am starting to look good. Even though I

have a few extra pounds, I think that I have a jawline that looks very

Hollywood to me, and that has done so much for my self esteem. If

you feel good now, wait until you are near the end of recovery/braces.

I am so excited to get these things off to see what I look like in the end.

I feel like I am on one of those extreme makeover shows. Even though I

am frustrated at times due to the seeming decades that I have been in

braces (16 months right now), I know that I am going to be pleased with

the final result. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it is

beginning to warm my new face!
