I am like you! My lower jaw has grown faster on one

side than the other giving me a wonky lower lip. I

decided to have the surgery as as I get older it

becomes more pronounced and I dont want it to get even

harder to eat stuff.

I've had this since I was 16, the boys used to call me

Camel cos of the way I chewed!

I am not scared of the op, cos I believe the team at

my hospital are VERY experienced in this kind of

thing, but I am dreading wearing braces for 18 months.

I just got contact lenses so I dont have to wear

glasses AND braces (what a double whammy that would be

for my narcissistic self!) - I have an appointment on

Monday 26th with the surgeon, the orthodontist and the

consultant to determine the best course of treatment.
