Hi Fran, I thought I'd butt into the conversation since you were

talking about the beauty aspect of the jaw.

I recently read an interesting article about 'beauty' and why we

consider a certain look beautiful. It said that it was

estrogen...or some female hormone - that helps in the shape of the

face, like high cheekbones and jawline. And that high estrogen also

contributes to fertility.....so it is this look that man is

instinctively attracted to due to it's fertility factor.

Not sure if the article was 'fact' or someone's opinion, but I found

it quite interesting.

Hi Pam,

I think the two pieces of info actually fit nicely together to the

function-is-beauty idea. Survivability and all. It is interesting

to consider anyway!
