Well today confirmed what I kinda knew all along, I am 9 days post

op now and I will have to get a second surgery done in 5 days to

correct my bite.

I visited my surgeon today and he took a look at me and said I am

gonna have to go back in surgery to adjust my bite. My surgeon said

when I came of anesthia I was pretty wild and he said I grabbed my

chin and tried to open my mouth up thats probably when I pulled a

plate loose or something. I really trust my surgeon he is supposedly

very good, I stopped by my Orthodontist's office and talked to her

for a few minutes and asked her about my surgeon just for some

reassurance and she said he is excellent and if she had children he

would be the one to do surgeries if they ever needed them, she is a

very good orthodontist and that made me feel better hearing what she

said.

Im just very depressed that I have to go through this again although

my surgeoon said it not going to be nearly as bad as the first one,

but I am still gonna have alot of swelling again, pain, and he said

be banded shut for at least one week. I am really feeling good right

now its only been nine days but I am gonna go back to work for a few

days up until my surgery.

I guess things happen and there isnt much you can do about it, my

ortho said in 7 years dealing with my surgeon she only knows one

other time that someone hade to go back in to get a redo...go figure

I am number two.

Well my splint is off, got a couple of bands on, and I guess I get

to do it again next week.
