Hi Irene,

I so feel for you as I had the same problem. Mine were the bands at

the front, so I hooked them on top of my brace and then down the

front of my teeth and down the bottom of the brace ( I hope it makes

sense). The bands stayed there no problem at all. They did not look

very nice being at the front of my mouth, but at least they dis not

cut my gums. Mine did not hurt as I could not feel my gums, but they

looked awful and I did not want to have any problems later on. my OD

said it was ok.

Your gums will go back to normal, mine did on week 4.
