I am new to the SCD diet, only been doing it for 5 weeks however I have a

plethora of questions! I'm only going to address one for now. Before I was ever

diagnosed I had Diarrhea for a little over 3 years and for those 3 years I would

say 80-85% of the time it was straight water, Meaning if anyone were to have

walked by door and heard me defecating they would have thought i was peeing

instead. The best I would get would be just slightly more solid than that. I

didn't have flares. Just 3 years straight of Water poop with GOD AWEFUL STENCH!

So my questions in regard to this are when others talk about having Diarrhea

what consistency are you all dealing with? AND My first three weeks on SCD I

went immediately to solid poos, at times it was almost too solid. My entire

digestive system was very confused and delighted with the change! Then a loose

stool came followed by looser and now for 10 days its been the straight water

again. When you all talk about flares how long do they typically last and do you

digress clear back to water torture or just go to a looser than firm stool?? Any

and all answers will be so greatly appreciated!!

And so it is,

my condition and how to heal myself
