Tonya,

Are you going to be wired or banded, or just have the splint? Luckily

I was not wired or banded, and waking up to find that out, I was very

happy. It was actually not too hard to breathe through my mouth after

surgery. (a heck of alot easier than breathing through my nose) Just

try to relax and take deep slow breaths. If you are having upper only

you should be okay.
