So I was driving back from school today on a 45 mph road, with a

green light ahead of me... (it was solid green, no changes, no

nothing) as I approach the light, i see this car in the other lane

trying to complete his left turn in front of me... At first, I didnt

think he was gonna do anything, but I braked just in case and WHAM.

He hit my front passenger fender and dented it the hell up. It did

not help that he had a chevy tahoe suv and i had a toyota corolla.

so basically we get out of the car, this guy pretty much lies and

says that he had a green arrow to make the left turn. (so he was

implying that i just breezed through a solid red light that had been

red for a while) luckily a cop was right there for some reason, and

while he had not seen the lights at the time of impact, he did see

cars go around me after impact which makes him believe that I did

have the green (whch I did.)

I'm very dissapointed that this family man would lie to an officer's

face but you know what they say, wha tcomes around goes around.

However, the hit was not bad at all, all things considered. I did

jerk a little bit, but my jaw still feels fine and has not moved. I

will definitely have to get it checked out on monday though.

I can't believe i was so lucky, these left turn accidents are usually

the brutal ones, if either of us had been going 10 mph faster, i

coulda been hit dead on. By the grace of God I am here able to type

this story to you.

So the moral of this story is.. BE CAREFUL WHEn U DRIVE, especially

postop. too many wackos out there!!! =)

by the way, I am 22 years old, have been driving since 15 and this is

my first accident, had only 1 speeding ticket. Happened 7.5 days

after my upper/lower surgery. Funny how things work huh? Oh

well, you've got to take what life gives you. hehe

thanks for reading, and once again, I appreciate all you guys'

support. I haven't seen Austria post here in a while, I hope she'd

doing OK.

Warm regards,

Mike
