Yesterday GHT, today an ADHD diagnosis, what a week!

Colin had an appt. with a Dev. Ped this morning and he confirmed what

I had expected that Colin likely has ADHD. He recommended I read a

book called " The Explosive Child " by Greene. Has anyone read it? He

said there are lots of constructive ways to deal with the behavior in

it. It sounds like meds may be in his future as well, except the huge

issue of them causing suppressed appetite. He wants to wait another

year to see how he does in Kindergarten before making a decision on

meds.

I would love some insight from others with ADHD experience. This is

all new to me.
