What does it feel like when wires are removed?

Hey all. I'm not new here, but don't post very often. If you don't

know, I had surgery July 14th on my lower jaw and had part of my upper

cut and moved down. Anyway, I have been wired for three weeks and have

three more to go. So, as I go through this tedious time where I wish

to eat real food everyday, I am just looking ahead at getting these

wires off. I was wondering if it hurts when they cut them, and if you

could tell me how your mouth feels right after (hurts, feels weird, is

hard to open and close) I would be interested. The more specific you

are, the more helpful it would be. Thanks a lot.
