Ideal BMI?

Hi there

I just noticed that at our GI's office, they give you a BMI...I honestly

didn't know why it was significant since he's so young and was interested to see

some folks mention it in posts.

His BMI is like 18.7% but what is the ideal? Is it important? I saw in the

post about where they thought that children who had a very high one

were more prone to certain endocrine issues, but is that the only issue?

Just curious...out of four kids, I can't recall seeing that number before

until we started see the GI for True.
