Guest guest Posted October 13, 2005 Report Share Posted October 13, 2005 Hi there everyone, I have not posted for a long time but had my surgery done back in march 2004. I had bother upper and lower jaw moved. I recently went to see my dentist and had some x rays done. These showed that my bones and gums were eroding rapidly and i was informed that if it were to carry on like this i would be in danger of loosing my teeth. I asked if this could have had anything to do with the surgery and was told it was a possibility due to the amount of time wearing the braces and struggling to clean my teeth sufficiently well after the operation .
