Possible causes:

insufficient protein intake/absorption (nails are protein)

underactive thyroid (requires COMPLETE thyroid workup,

including free T3)

psoriasis (unlikely?)

Actually she did have one sorta low reading for T4. She will check it again

after the Holidays. I got her in Florida until New Years. Thanks everyone.
