Hello everyone.

My name is Kallas. I had my surgery done on July 28, 2002

in Nashville by Dr. Dyer. I started at 230lbs and now I

fluctuate between 127 and 133. I have been lurking here for over a

year - I started months before my surgery and have appreciated all

that I have learned from each and every one of you on this list. My

life has changed tremendously since having my surgery. I lost my job

of 4 years in Tennessee and moved back to my home town in Florida

after being gone for 15 years. It's interesting the different ways

people treat you after your weight loss - some treatment is great,

some not so great. For the most part though, it has been wonderful

for me. I would do it again in a heart beat. I have had no

complications up to this point and have felt great most of the time.

I do have a couple of " issues/quesions " and I thought that this list

would be the best place to start. First, since moving back here I

have a new job which I love. I also have insurance, thank God. But,

I don't have a doctor - I need to find a pcp that is wls friendly and

I don't know where to start. Next, I take a chewable centrum and

sublingual liquid b12 every morning and that is it. I know that I

should be doing calcium citrate and iron as well and at the least. I

do OK with eating my protein but don't really get any shakes in so

I'm probably going to need labs soon to make sure all is well. The

problem is that the past couple of days I have been waking up with

eyes that are pretty red and then today I feel very tired. I don't

feel as though I have a cold and don't really feel sick - just a

little worried. I have heart palpitations on occasion as well, but I

think that it's possibly hormones. I used to have hypertension and

be on 2 medications, but my bp is normal now - YEAH! I also had

other issues that have gone away but this message is getting much to

long to list them right now. If anyone knows of any wls friendly

pcp's in the Ft. Myers area and also any ideas about the red eyes I

would appreciate any info that you might have. I may just be

paranoid. I have just been doing so great for so long now I would

like to prevent anything that I can before hand. Sorry this is so

long and once again, thanks for all of your wisdom and insite.
