Kidney stones - symptoms?

I need to know the beginning symptoms of kidney stones. I have

either strained my back or I am having symptoms of kidney stones.

It just started last night and I am also coming down with yet

another cold. I am still fighting it though. I have been living

dangerously with drinking tea and it may have come back to bite me.

My lower back hurts on my left side. It is the back area and

alittle around the side. It is better than last night, but still

there. Any help would be very much appreciated as to symptoms and

suggestions as what to do next.

Could also be kidney infection. Get to a Doctor. That is the only way they

can figure this out. Kidney stones hurt like hell. I can tell you the

easiest way to pass on is to drink 8oz of water every hour for about 8

hours. You will probably pee it out. LOL BUT get to the Doctor. Let them

check.

When I have lower back pain,

I drink TONS of water and I put lemon in my drinks. I heard that helps. I

also heard that apple cider vinegar helps dissolve stones. After a day of

the water and lemon therapy, my back stops hurting.

If you see blood in your urine, that is when you REALLY need to see the doc.

Of course the docs will know. Mine started as if I'd pulled a muscle.

Wrap hand around waist on left side and that's about where it was. It

wasn't really til the next day that it became REALLY uncomfy, and the

next day before I hit the misery level that took me to the doc.

Don's, however, started in the front. Acted like a bowel obstruction

at first. Then moved to the back, same hand position as mine. But

his appeared to be more intense, sooner.

My dad had no warning, but the pain dropped him to his knees

immediately. He was maybe 65-70 then.

So, each person is a lil different in how it attacks.
