Type of surgery date of surgery what have you done about the elevated liver enzymes? Has it worked? How far has it progressed? (only elevated enzymes, cirrhosis, liver failure, etc.) There isn't a lot of information about this subject out there. I co know that many of us have elevated liver enzyme tests, but doctors don't seem to know what to do about it, or even if they should worry about it at all. In researching this, I did find out that the intestinal bypass and the jejunal ileal bypass both caused possible liver failure in the long term. So, what I am trying to find out is whether this is something a gastric bypass patient should watch out for also. Thanks for any input you can give me.
