Speaking as a short (non RSS) adult (not quite 5 foot tall) this is

something that all children have to deal with at some point or

another. I know that I got picked on for being the smallest kids. It

only took a few times of kicking the other kids for them to realize

that I might be small but I could still hurt them to get them to leave

me alone.

While that might not be the approach you want to take, " our " kids need

to have the attitude of " not I'm not to small " and " I can do

anything. " Of course, now that I am 40, I don't mind letting someone

else reach the top shelf so I don't have to climb lol.
