Hi -

Isaac has been on meds since birth. His TSH levels when he was born

were over 1,000 !!! Dr. H asked if he had a scan done to see if he

even has a thyroid but since the scan wasn't done before the

medication was started his doc said it isn't an accurate indicator.

They started sinthroid in the NICU and we have had bloodwork done

every 2 months since then to monitor. Dr. H asked if he had a scan

before the medication was started I don't think it is an accurate

indicator.They lowered his dose last time but last weeks bloodwork

showed a TSH level of 63 so we have to do bloodwork again in a

month. His levels have maintained pretty well all this time but for

some reason they are doing funky things right now!

That's fine, I was able to desifer it...

So Isaac has Congenital Hypothyriod? Liam's is aquired because it did not get

high till he was 14 months old..
