Sorry Pam, didn't mean to scare anyone. This doesn't have to be a

problem, everyone dont have loads of amalgam and sit there all day.

But be warned, and look out for the symptoms:

Eyes may begin to itch during computer session.

Sensitivity to light. Watch TV on daytime then look out a bright

window to test. Hurts?

Redness in face after computer use.

The text on screen may become 'blurred', difficulty to focus.

...this is mercury in action, and it most likely comes from amalgam in

your teeth. Dont fight it with willpower, because you cant. If anyone

experiences any of these, then you may be on your way to develop

electrosensitivity.

On the constructive side, here's things you can do BEFORE any of the

above happens. If you are using a grounded outlet for computer and

monitor the problem is smaller because the EMF is smaller, but I didnt

know that until I got electrosensitivity. Also, if there is an option

for it, enable " spread spectrum " in the bios, and also " disable

unused pci slots " . Makes the computer itself friendlier. And keep the

computer as far away from the body as possible. Nothing of this cost

anything, and reduces exposure a lot. If you want to do more, then get

a LCD monitor, they are cheap now. Those who want an even more healthy

workstation, consider a wireless keyboard and mouse so you dont have

to keep your hands in an EMF. Its also very healthy to get a longer

SHIELDED monitor cable so you can get the computer at least 3 meters

away from you. All in all, 3-400$ gets you a very nice environment. I

would have liked that 5 years ago. I also believe EMF mobilizes

mercury stored in the body over and over. Wonder what Andy's thoughts

about that would be.

(Technical ranting about DVI and analouge monitor cables..)

Well, I hesitated to post this, but it could be useful, smack me if

I'm too much OT.. There's a problem with TOO LONG analogue monitor

cables because ghosting can appear on screen. I think 3-5 meter

analouge cable is fine if its a shielded cable of good quality. But we

might want a modern digital DVI monitor cable instead. Then to the

electrosensitive persons dismay he discovers that this cable is VERY

BAD for him. A call to a electro engineer friend at sson reveals

why. Something with square waves and something about large spectrum.

And the cable was not shielded. Got a special Jenving 12 meter tripple

shielded DVI cable coming my way any day. Hope that will contain those

waves. The ordinary, analogue cables was friendlier but then there was

the picture quality issue. So, there you have it).
