Guest guest
Tina, I was wondering if I would be afforded the honor of having our very own Walking Sheriff to force me out of that bed. LOL I can hardly wait Lorraine but we've got your name on our calendar so Ron (the Walking Sheriff) can get your butt out of bed and walk the halls as well when Lorraine comes. > > See you soon!! > > Ron & Tina (jelly bean toes and hubby too!) Guest guest
Cindy, I, too, am sorry we won't be able to meet. I know what you mean about the generousity of & Don. I won't be staying with them (my hubby & daughter are allergic to cats & they will be with me) but the offer was there & will probably be with me at my various medical appointments (who knows, I might end up at 's for a couple of days post op anyway). I am so excited about being able to meet so many that I have gotten to know through these message boards. I have wonderful friends & family, but to have those who have experienced the pain of MO & the convoluted issues surrounding pre, during, & post op issues is such a godsend. I will be gone before you get to Federal Way but I will also be following your progress & praying for you to have a speedy & unevenful recovery. We are truly blessed to have found a wonderful online family who loves us, cares about us, listens to us no matter how much we whine, & rally's us on to success. It is through - who led me to this group - very subtley & wisely to help me to find my solutions to my wls problems. It is due to her and this group that I found my answers. I do thank you all for who each of you are. It is each of you collectively that makes up the personality of this wonderful group. Just about 9 days & a wake up away. YEAH!!!! Lorraine <Cindy wrote > Lorraine, > > I'm sorry I won't be there to have dinner with you on the second...I wish I could. You see, coming up right behind you. Guest guest
Like that's optional here. And it doesn't even matter if you just walked or don't want to right now. The Sheriff knows what's good for you. Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
>> It's a strange feeling to think about strangers being there for me at a time like this and yet, it's also an incredibly wonderful feeling. Not to worry, sweetie, by the second day there, you'll know you're family anyway -- that's how they make everyone feel! ~~ Lyn G
Guest guest
Yeah. There's the cupboard with the glasses, there's the water. Fend for yourself! LOL! Thanks, Vitalady, Inc. Guest guest
Tina, Hmmmmmm, is this something I should look forward to or dread? Just how good is the Sheriff? Will he care if I whine? cause I probably will....hahaha I'm looking forward to meeting both of you. And I'm glad someone will get my butt up. Just ask him not to do it to early ok? I'm a lousy morning person......Hopefully I'll get to meet you both when before my morning walks begin. Bless you both, Cindy Cindy - I can't wait to meet you. I live close to and it's fun to meet all the out-of-towners. I also can't wait to meet Lorraine, since I did miss her visit last time and won't be there for dinner on the 2nd (my husband and I will be snowmobiling), but we've got your name on our calendar so Ron (the Walking Sheriff) can get your butt out of bed and walk the halls as well when Lorraine comes. See you soon!! Ron & Tina (jelly bean toes and hubby too!)
Guest guest
The Sheriff has been through people telling him to " Get the ...... out of here " , to the one-finger salute, whining, and crying to name a few....feel free to do whatever makes YOU feel better. Guest guest
and Don say that you fend for yourself.. but she really does take good care of us.. Yes, you will have to get up and get your own protein shakes, water, etc.. but you will feel totally comfortable and at home. Peachy hugs,
