Dear Brave Souls "

just my two cent's worth. I value 99% of EVERYTHNING I read on grad list and

I am not bored, and find it educational and often fun--which for me in my

life, is often the best medicine of all. (anyone want to be my laugh-friend on a

daily basis, let me know--not sending jokes, but being funny in person--you

know, some people are just naturally funny. Then there's people like me, who are

funny without necessarily meaning to be---grin)

Just my two cent's worth: is the equivalent of the old woman who lived

in a shoe who had so many children he didn't know what to do... except his

version is 'the hunky young man who lived in a shoe and who had so many children

he HAD TO figure out what to do. "

You know that part in the movie where the guy becomes God for a few days, and

his whole life is beset by the world's requests, prayers, demands,

CONFLICTING prayers, CONFLICTING requests, CONFLICTING demands-- that he nearly

loses

his mind? That's (and Judy D. and whomsoever else co-moderates). Except

isn't God. (But " god-like-- especially in the muscle department)

I just say this because I hope we can have mercy on a guy who has a life to

live and yet not only moderates this group, has also, in the past, kept people

from killing each other psychologically--even though both parties have often

swiped at him in the meantime, and he pays a goodly amount of money each year

to keep utterly obnoxious advertisements off the digest--even though many of

us have offered to help him pay that amount each year. It's not to say is

perfect, unless you count that he is " perfectly strange, weird and wonderful,

all at the same time. "

This is my two cent's worth. Just imagine the worst case scenario: evil ceep

moderating this list along with vitagal's evil alter-ego. Jump back

Loretta!!!! Anyone getting out of line would get a s.p.a.n.k.i.n.g!

Seriously now, , with regard to not reposting whole digests and long,

long re-re-replies, but just the relevant parts, is talking about a kind of

courtesy that did not exist years ago because there was no easy internet access

for so many. I make the mistake myself sometimes, for which I am sorry, of

forgetting to put the right heading on my message and it goes as " digest number

something-or-other, " and sometimes I accidentally send re-re -re myself. I am

trying to do it the way the group policies say. I would try to do the same in

anyone else's home that was not my own.

If ceep had a site, which she actually does, called Grad Newsletter (that she

has been meaning to put together with 'ceep's top ten advice papers about

body dysmorphia, changing sexuality, post-op depression, etc--but ceep keeps

getting sick and hasn't been able to do it yet, also because she is *completely*

illiterate about how to do it technically....) if ceep had a site, people

could eat dessert first and play in the dirt and never have to come in for a

nap.

But, in the real world...

This comes with love,

ceep g-mom

I think you misundertand about the moderation of posts. He has to have

rules to keep up with the thousands of posts that the moderators go through. It

only makes sense to delete most of the message when a person is responding to

it. Don't take it personally because he has to do his job. He is not picking on

you personally---he wants us ALL to go by the rules. Rules are made for a reason

and we all have to abide by them. If continued exceptions are made, there are no

rules.

I for one, want to thank for the wonderful job he does as the leader of

this group. THANK YOU DAVID.

Me, too! He's the best! What would we have done without this list?

I really believe it's the best, most realistic source of info for pre

& post-ops alike...not to mention the most phenomenal group of people!

THANK YOU, DAVID from me, too!

THAT last about syndrome H is truly funny--made me spew my coffee across the

room....of course in a gastric bypass way.

Thank you. I love to laugh far more than cry.

Just to demonstrate the importance of editing for us digest dweebs (yes I

will switch over to individuals in a few weeks!): when there was the

recent

discussion about Syndrome X, I nearly found myself entering Syndrome H (for

homicidal) with the repeated recopying of the very long reference piece >>
