how much $ do we need?

I realize that this question has been asked before in many different

ways, but I never paid too much attention to the answer until now,

hopefully I'll have to concern myself with this SOON!

I understand that we need to pay for clinic up front $255, along with

$1,000 deposit to Dr. Rutledge. If our insurance policy covers for

example 80% and we pay the remaining 20%, do we have to pay our share

before surgery or are we billed afterward? I'm trying to figure out

how much I must have.
