Keltie, don't know about the effects of cornstarch on active yeast

infections, other than that I have used it for years to try and control

excessive

dampness under and it worked reasonably well in that application -- but in

deference

to your GYN maybe if there is an active yeast infection one might want to

avoid cornstarch. Don't know. But talc is not good period. I DO know that

there have been a number of studies which suggest that talc can or may possibly

contribute to cervical cancer should it become absorbed or enter the vaginal

track. And of course, there is the respiratory effects which you mention.

Thanks for your input. I'll remember to ask my GNY next time I see her

about cornstarch use during an active yeast onslaught. I think we all know

how

miserable one of those can be!
