Guest guest
Hi Everyone, My son has been in a helmet for five weeks now and at todays appointment we were told that statistically his numbers were in the normal range. We're debating if we should discontinue the helmet or keep going. I still notice a flat spot but am worried that this as good as it will get. Does anyone know what numbers we could hope for at this point (6.5 months)? I'm not sure what all of the numbers mean but I'm posting the highlighted ones in hopes that someone knows if they are great or there is room for improvement. The numbers are based on star band measurements. Thanks for your help. Radial Symmetry Index (RSI) - 20.6 mm Posterior Symmetry Ratio - .918 Overall Symmetry Ratio - .935 Cranial Vault Assymetry Index (CVAI) 3.5 (I'm assuming in mm)
