Guest guest
My 6 month old son just got his star band a little under a week ago, and so far he has had a hard time adjusting. Before he got the band, I guess you could say he was a little " spoiled " . He is my first baby, and is accustomed to being held a lot. However, since he has been in his band it seems like the moment I put him down he screams! Even in his exersaucer (which he loved before) he will only stay for about 5 minutes. I don't think he is in any pain due to the band because as soon as I pick him up he is fine. I took him back to the orthotist and he made a few adjustments, but this hasn't helped either. Also, at night he is tossing and turning a lot. I fought so hard to get his band and now I am so frustrated with it! Any similar experiences or advice on how to help him cope? Guest guest
I am currently going through the same thing with my daughter. We have had the helmet for a couple of days. May he realizes that something is " different " and just feels more " assured " when you hold him. We haven't started sleeping in the helmet yet. I guess I have that to look forward to. > > My 6 month old son just got his star band a little under a week ago, and so far he has had a hard time adjusting. Guest guest
I am happy to report that it has gotten better! It was a rough first week, but now he seems to be getting used to the helmet. > > > > My 6 month old son just got his star band a little under a week ago, and so far he has had a hard time adjusting.
