I have been away for a while, what is Joe in hospital for?

progress report: Kathy / Joe Frost

I had meant to get this posted on Tuesday, but my son came in from

Germany last night, and I didn't get on the board.

I visited with Kathy in the for quite a while in the recovery room

after her surgery. She asked me to let everyone know how she was

doing. My gosh, she did so well! She was so upbeat and postive, and

READY for this! She came through this like a real trooper! She was

really, REALLY looking forward to her " sips and chips " too!

She talked quite a bit about so many of you.

Now, about Joe.

I didn't get his permission to post, so I can not say much. But he

was my patient in recovery, and he did TERRIFIC!! He also said how

much everyone has meant to him, and how supportive you all are.

my editorial: I am so impressed with the love, support, and

outpouring of concern for your fellow DS'ers. I really see it when I

read these posts, and I really FEEL it when I meet you, and hear you

on the other side.
