2 post-op questions :o)

Hello Everyone,

I have rejoined this list to ask a couple of questions.. but before I do

I will give you an update on my life.

I joined this list last year probably in July of 2000. I was trying to

get approval for the DS with Dr. Hess in Bowling Green, Ohio. I was finally

approved (after a denial) and I had my surgery on November 30th, 2000. I am

ALMOST to the year mark ) I started out at a very high weight of over 400

lbs and in this past 11+ months I have lost 230 lbs. It's all a little hard

to believe. It has not been without problems or without uphill struggles,

but as I sit here wearing a size 16 pants and being able to do everything

under the sun, I feel truly blessed.

Now for my questions. I have these little bumps all over my face...

especially on the chin line. They are not exactly pimples. They are

supposedly caused by some type of vitamin deficiency and I would like ANY AND

ALL suggestions on what to try. They are driving me crazy! I've never had

" perfect " skin.. but I have never had this kind of bumpiness. I just hate

it! So please.. if anyone knows what this is, or how to get rid of it, or

even reduce it... I would be forever grateful.

Also... I know that there is a product that helps with odor. I think

it's a pill that you take that neutralizes the smell or something like that.

Can someone give me this information and let me know if it works? I would

really appreciate that too. You can write to me at Wannabloser@... if

that's easier ... or put my name in the subject heading of your email. There

are SO many emails that come from this list that I don't want to miss any

answers! )

And if there is anything I can do to help anyone here.. please let me

know. I can't promise to read all the emails on the list but I will

definitely respond to any that are directed at me. Good luck to all who are

in the process of approval and many blessings to those of you who have just

had surgery, and many thanks to those of you who are long time post-ops.. you

helped me greatly prior to surgery and just after.
