My son typically fussed after we put his helmet back on after the one hour break, so I worked it out that I fed him immediately after I put the helmet back on; that seemed to do the trick and then he would go back to ignoring the helmet again. He struggled a bit more in the beginning of treatment, especially at night, but it did get better and now that it's almost over, I'm VERY happy I chose to get him a helmet.

What have I done to my little man!!! He HATES the Starband. He was fussy as soon as I put it on and pulls at it as I'm putting it on. I hope to god this gets better!!! He did this for the tech too so I don't think it's because I'm doing anything wrong per say. I am not going to be able to take hearing him fuss and whine the whole time he wears it so please tell me it gets better. It's only been 20 minutes and I want to take it off already. He's is playing on the floor with toys and fussing at the same time. It's so pitiful and heart breaking. Why couldn't I have just been content with his cute flat head!!! Is there anything I can do to make it better for him???? How long did it take your kiddo to adjust to wearing it?
