Just FYI - It is true about the follow-ups. Maybe go back and demand they do it

anyway? Let them know other older babies have had success and other locations in

Canada do take older babies. Cry in the middle of the clinic. Whatever works. I

really hope you can find someone to help. I'm sorry you're in such a frustrating

situation.

to the right. I was too wrong to take my family doctor's words when he told me

that repositioning will fix the babies head shapes when I went to see him as my

babies 6 months old. Are there any moms who had similar experiences and had

their babies head shapes fixed after? I tried to make appointment with BC

Women's Hospital, but after two weeks when I called them again, they told me my

babies are too old for helmets. I am super worried now. Any help would be

appreciated!

develop plagiocephaly. The phyio therapist and doctors all told me to wait and

see if the repositioning and exercise corrected it. When she hit the 11 month

old mark and with some improvement, I was not satisfied with the results. I was

also told that is she reached a certain age she would not be helmeted. I took

her to the head shape clinic and was told that if wanted we could go ahead and

helmet her but the results may be minimal to none. We went ahead and after the 4

months her head is much better. Not perfect but we are happy with the results!

If you want your child in a helmet keep pushing as the results can be positive.

Good luck.
