Use ALA every OTHER round. I will cut back the amount of ALA when I restart it again. We had been doing so well with food and sleep...still lots of wake ups but at least we had some sleep...no longer. Jacinta

I know I do with OLE. Both GSE and OLE are high phenol, so you might want to give No-Fenol with the GSE also. >>Was your > son's yeast like this? ie red cheek all day and night and no > sleep? If *I* have yeast in my head, I will have a major migraine headache and trouble sleeping. GSE definitely helps me with my yeast issues. > > HNI zymne prime, no phenol and AFP peptizyde Is this the SCD version of Zyme Prime? If not, switch to that one, see if it helps. Guest guest
Thanks Dana If *I* have yeast in my head, I will have a major migraine headache > and trouble sleeping. Yes I know that feeling too...this I think is different...no headache, just awake. I have cut down on dose frequency and amounts and will see if that helps (on Devin's suggestion). I've put in GSE and uva ursi again for me (breastfeeding) and GSE for my son. > >> Is this the SCD version of Zyme Prime? My son is dribbling a bit (not usual) and he has a rash on his bottom uuuggh...does it sound like yeast? If I don't use enough enzymes then of course the yeast have a field day with all this lovely undigested food....is it that do you think? This is new since reducing the doses of enzymes yesterday...sleep was a bit better last night though ie every 45 minutes instead of every 5 or 10. No reflux. However he couldn't nap at all today despite being tired...yeast I think. He's never giggly or cranky particularly...likes playing but he's not too physical due to exhaustion I think. Happy New Year and thanks for all your help and support. Jacinta

When I am wide awake, it usually means I ate something, or more commonly that I took a supplement, that caused me to have sleep issues. Last year I tried echinacea for a major cold/flu, and it kept me awake ALL NIGHT, despite that I tried taking about 1/4 bottle of NyQuil for the sedative effect. So it actually made me worse because I had no sleep. This year I tried olive leaf extract and had a MUCH BETTER result. It does not keep me awake, plus it eliminated my October flu in 2-1/2 days, and now my kids are sick but I am *not* sick because I am taking OLE as preventive. Crystal Light will also cause me to be awake, even if I drink it with No-Fenol. No-Fenol helps kill yeast, which can cause certain people to be awake at night. Cutting down the dose might be very helpful. > My son is dribbling a bit (not usual) and he has a rash on his > bottom uuuggh...does it sound like yeast? Yes, that can be yeast, or bacteria. Try cutting back on sugars and carbs, see if that helps. Dana
