Hi listmates

I have just done 2 rounds of ALA with DMSA 5mg per dose (weight

31lbs) every 2 1/4 to 2 3/4 hours, 3 on 4 off) with my son after 10

rounds of DMSA only (high lead, mercury and various other metals).

Before adding HNI enzymes he was allergic to all foods, this

improved tremendously and we then started chelation. Now 2 rounds

into ALA, he seems allergic to the enzymes (red cheek and ear, can't

sleep, etc).

He does not have any other symptoms apart from loose stools with

ALA..tiny bit more tired during rounds...but it may be because I

stretch it out to 2 3/4 hours at night when I am desperate but he

wakes up when he needs a dose (in addition to his regular wakings I

mean) , I think he needs 2 1/4 hour dosing throughout the day and

night) but no other behavioural changes and he remains a happy

child. Sleep has never been good but was better with the

introduction of enzymes (sometimes 3 or 4 hour stretches) but always

waking during the night (adrenal insufficiency and I think hunger).

Are we doomed to this until the end of chelation? He was down to 2

foods (which he was also allergic to) before HNI enzymes.

Do I withdraw the ALA? Chelate less frequently? More frequently?

Grit my teeth and hope for this to pass? We don't get much

sleep....wakes every few minutes during the night after sleeping for

either 45 minutes or 1 hour 45 minutes initially. This is exactly

how it was before HNI enzymes and we were the walking dead.

ps I was using no phenol in between to help control the yeast along

with GSE and OLE as needed, in between meals.

All suggestions or words of wisdom are appreciated. A magic wand or

potion would be even better!

Thanks in advance

Jacinta

no magic here. I've noticed similar things. I don't beleive it was

ALA that brought it on, but I know that is even sensitive to

enzymes now. There is a fine line between what he needs and what he

can handle. More than 3/4 cap of NF and it gives him red ears and

too many enzymes total during the day and he is up a few hours

earlier in the AM. He has always been a good sleeper until

recently. He is on round 8 and holding until I can get a hold of

things going on now.

a

ps please share any magic that you find
