I am thinking that must be a typo (PC3-RX). Anyway, if you mean PCA, again, this has been discussed zillions of times, but mostly there is discussion of opinions about it rather than use of it, which is not what you asked for. Below are some posts which I believe are about actual EXPERIENCES with this product. I'm not positive, I need to recheck these and edit this (I'm working on making a collection of posts about a number of products and protocols.) Anyway, check these posts, I think they are all people who have used PCA-rx: /message/122451 PCA rx /message/122530 PCA-rx /message/118824 pca rx /message/121282 pca rx /message/122046 /message/121288 PCA-rx (no effect) /message/121493 PCA-rx (apparently negative effects) /message/60338 Kathy [] [] [negative results: aggression, crying, oppositional] PCA-Rx /message/69503 rat.richard@ Terri PCA-rx good results [socialization] /message/81389 PCA Rx /message/77729 PCA Rx /message/79024 PCA Rx /message/77762 PCA Rx good wishes, Moria
Guest guest
Jackie, I use the PC3-RX on my 6 yr. old daughter. She isn't autistic or delayed, but her brothers are. I am chelating my boys with DMSA and ALA. Even though my daughter appears normal, I still worry because she received all the vaccines her brothers did. So, I figured I would go this route with her. I haven't seen any changes in her, it's only been about 1 month. But I did stop for about 1 week because it was making her constipated. > > We have heard that Maxam's PC3-RX is a safer chelator. Guest guest
What side effects is he referring too? And why is his age a problem? You can safely chelate with dmsa or ala or both if you follow a safe protocol. And if he thinks 8 years is too old, I hope not. I am 34 and chelating, and my 11 year old is chelating. If he thinks it's too young, what about my 4 year old. We started him at 3.5 years and he has made a complete turn around. Many times doctors are reluctant to chelate thinking it unsafe because of the horror stories they hear regarding people who follow dangerous protocols and high doses. This product is very expensive I have to say. Considering a bottle of dmsa is $30 and last us over three months, and that's to chelate three of us. AlA is anywhere from $3-12 a bottle, also lasting long, because the doses used are very low. I can't say if this product is worth the money or worth trying. I am sure it will do something as it contains chlorella and lipoic acid. Both metal movers. I am concerned with all the bacteria in it. For us, we chose to go with a proven metal chelator that we had control over the dosing times. This one gives metal movers but not at a regular timed interval. I am sure others have used it and can provide personal experience. But please do not dismiss chelation because the doctor won't do it. Many of us are not using a doctor. So many of them are misinformed on chelation anyway. While I don't know your son's history and what reasons they might have for not chelating him. So I cannot tell you what you should do. Just to be informed. > > > We have heard that Maxam's PC3-RX is a safer chelator.
