Okay guys, you would think I would know the answer to this by now, but I

really don't.

My new husband and I just found out that he has hepatitis C.

ONe of the main things to do for Hepatitis is to take Lipoic Acid.

Now....from a motorcycle acident in his teens....he has a mouth that has

more amalgam in it that teeth. (Exaggerating, but youget the picture)

I do not think he will go for removing any of it, at least not in the near

future. They wantd to remove his teeth back when he was 18 and had the

accident. He had said NO....to fill and cap them the best they could.

Anyway..I KNOW he will not go for amalgam removal at this time.

Since he does not have any real apparent symptoms of Hg toxcity, can he take

lipoic acid on the same schedule as I even though he has a mouth full of

metal, or would this be totally contra-indicated?

--- You should not use ALA if you have amalgam fillings, with or

without current obvious symptoms of Hg toxicity. If he becomes Hg

toxic along with the Hep C it will only make matters much worse.

There are other treatments for Hep C that will not move Hg.
